What is Esprida LiveControl?
Esprida LiveControl provides you with the tools you need to gain visibility of your self-service devices and to centralize the management and operation of
your devices. Esprida LiveControl also allows you to effectively manage service level agreements (SLA) with your customers and to keep device software and application
content up-to-date.
Esprida LiveControl is available in Software as a Service (SaaS) model. The Esprida SaaS model is a managed, hosted environment where you pay a monthly
subscription fee per device for software, maintenance, and support. You also automatically receive
Esprida LiveControl Server updates.
The Esprida SaaS model is designed to help you eliminate capital investment
on infrastructure and minimize your IT staff workload. The Esprida
LiveControl environment is administered by our experienced staff and is hosted in our secure state-of-the-art facilities and enterprise class
infrastructure, with redundant servers for failover and load balancing to ensure that you can meet your customers’ needs and expectations.
How it works
Esprida LiveControl consists of two parts:
- Esprida LiveControl Agent, a management agent installed on each device
- Esprida LiveControl Server, an enterprise class server
The Esprida LiveControl Agent™ acts as the link between your device and the server. It also provides the device with the
intelligence to monitor its health status, perform corrective actions, and automate tasks and rules. All agent communications between the server
and the device take place over a secure socket layer (SSL) Internet connection.
The Esprida LiveControl Agent initiates communication with the Esprida LiveControl Server™ at regular intervals to check
for new activity. This communication alleviates IT department concerns about exposing managed devices to unsolicited requests. Furthermore, to
prevent forged identities, each communication between the
Esprida LiveControl Agent and the Esprida LiveControl Server is authenticated prior
to data being transmitted.
The Esprida LiveControl Server hosts the remote device management applications including device monitoring, tasks and
rules automation, digital content management, reporting and analysis, and remote desktop control. In addition, the Esprida LiveControl Server
manages the security of the system including user roles, security policies, and access control.
You manage your devices from any Web-enabled PC and interact with the server via a Web-based graphical user interface that
